Product Overview

GlyMed Plus Peptide Micro Scrub is a physical exfoliating treatment designed to remove dead surface skin cells, smooth uneven texture, and reveal a softer, more refined-looking complexion.

Featuring fine exfoliating microcrystals, this scrub provides a thorough polishing effect to help improve the appearance of roughness, dullness, and uneven skin texture. Its formula also incorporates peptides and skin-conditioning ingredients to support hydration and skin comfort during exfoliation.

Unlike traditional scrubs that focus solely on removing dead skin cells, Peptide Micro Scrub combines effective physical exfoliation with ingredients that help maintain a soft, nourished feel.

Because this is a more intensive form of physical exfoliation, thoughtful application and frequency are important. When incorporated appropriately into a personalized skincare routine, it can help maintain smoother-looking skin without unnecessary overexfoliation.

Why I Recommend It

GlyMed Plus Peptide Micro Scrub is one of my favorite physical exfoliants because of how effectively it helps smooth and refine the skin's texture.

I love the fine microcrystals in this formula. They provide a thorough exfoliation that helps remove dead surface skin cells, leaving skin feeling noticeably smoother. I also appreciate the addition of peptides and skin-conditioning ingredients that help support hydration while exfoliating.

However, this is a product I recommend introducing slowly. While exfoliation can be beneficial, using too much or exfoliating too frequently can compromise the skin barrier and contribute to dryness, irritation, and sensitivity.

I always encourage clients to pay attention to how their skin responds rather than assuming they need to exfoliate more often to see better results.

It's a product I genuinely enjoy, but I believe the best results come from using it intentionally and choosing an exfoliation frequency that supports your individual skin needs.

How to Use

After cleansing, apply a small amount to damp skin.

Using very light pressure, gently massage over the face with your fingertips, avoiding the eye area, irritated skin, and active inflamed blemishes. Do not aggressively scrub or apply excessive pressure.

Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and follow with a hydrating serum and moisturizer.

If you're new to physical exfoliation, I recommend starting no more than once weekly, provided your skin tolerates it. Frequency can be adjusted based on your skin's response and personalized skincare recommendations.

Avoid using on the same day as other strong exfoliating products, retinoids, or professional exfoliating treatments unless specifically directed by your skincare professional. Do not use on compromised or freshly treated skin.

Apply broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher during the day.
